A short list...

... of what I’ve (re)learned about choir over the past couple years:

  1. people first, perfection later (or never)

  2. only do music you like (sing, conduct, listen, etc)

  3. do music by folks who are alive

  4. this is the right path: keep going

  5. you are not alone – reach out, reach out, reach out

  6. this is important, don’t take it for granted
